PRODUCT INTRODUCTION
Meruvert-PV Tablet is a prescription medicine. This combination of medicines helps in treating vertigo or Meniere’s disease. It promotes better blood flow in the inner ear. It also protects the brain and nerves at the time of oxygen shortage.
Meruvert-PV Tablet can be taken with or without food. It should be used in the dose and duration as prescribed by your doctor. This medicine should not be consumed more than the recommended dose.
Some common side effects include headache, nervousness, fatigue, and stomach upset. These are usually well tolerated but if these side effects persist for a long time, please consult your doctor. Contact your doctor immediately if you notice any symptoms of allergic reactions like swelling, itching, difficulty in breathing, hives, etc.
Before taking this medicine, tell your doctor if you have any other health conditions. Inform your doctor if you are taking any other medicines or if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. It is advised not to consume alcohol after taking this medicine.
Ménière’s disease is a disorder of the inner ear that causes severe dizziness (vertigo), ringing in the ears (tinnitus), hearing loss, and a feeling of congestion in the ear. This is due to build-up of fluid in the inner ear. Meruvert-PV Tablet reduces the amount of fluid and prevents symptoms from developing. It may take a couple of weeks before you notice any improvements but keep taking it, even if you do feel better, until your doctor advises it is safe to stop.

Most side effects do not require any medical attention and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Consult your doctor if they persist or if you’re worried about them

HOW TO USE MERUVERT-PV TABLET
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. MERUVERT-PV Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
HOW MERUVERT-PV TABLET WORKS
MERUVERT-PV Tablet is a combination of five medicines: Betahistine, Vitamin D3, Ginkgo Biloba, Piracetam and Vinpocetine. Betahistine improves blood flow in the inner ear which reduces the pressure of excess fluid in the inner ear. Vitamin D3 is added as it’s deficiency may be a cause of Miniere’s disease. Ginkgo Biloba and Vinpocetine increase blood flow to the brain and protect it from damage by harmful chemical substances (free radicals). Piracetam works by further protecting the brain and nervous system against shortness of oxygen and also affects various channels on nerve cells.

WHAT IF YOU FORGET TO TAKE MERUVERT-PV TABLET?
If you miss a dose of MERUVERT-PV Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
